The present invention provides a novel herbomineral formulation for diabetic foot ulcer comprising of hot water extract of a single plant, oil extract of 28 medicinal plants, a purified marine compound, bees wax, petroleum jelly and Cinnamomum camphora. The invention also describes the process for the preparation of the same. The invention related to a novel ayurvedic formulation for treating diabetic foot ulcer. The present artifact particularly relates to a herbo mineral composition comprising of extract of 29 plants, a marine compound, bees wax, petroleum jelly and Cinnamomum camphora. More particularly the present innovation relates to a pharmaceutical modification of classical ayurvedic combination for external use. The formulation is effective in the treatment of diabetic foo t ulcer resulting from the synergy of the ingredients in the composition. The current contrivance also relates to a preparation for external use which in turn hasten the healing process of diabetic foot ulcer in its early stage.
