Generally, cylindrical components can be hold in chucks, collets to perform operations like turning, milling, grinding etc. For performing machining in components where length to diameter ratio is large, holding of component is one of the major constraints. This invention addresses aforesaid problem in a simple and practical manner. Moreover, the invention not only holds the component but also help in achieving geometrical parameters and tolerances as per requirements. The invention finds its use for holding variety of components fabricated from castings & forgings.
