A method and system of providing real-time progress monitor in case of learning delivered over mobile terminals is disclosed in the present invention. While learning on a paper book, students view their progress by gauging the number of pages left and topics left, however, this progress monitoring is lost in e-learning and mobile learning. The method and system of the present invention captures the vital data about the device usage to provide real-time progress to enhance the motivation and encourage students to continue learning. Further, the system and method of the invention includes adapting the learning content based on an intelligent synthesis of individual response, response speed, use of touch screen data, parents input, teachers input and various other system wide data to change the pace, format, speed, flow, content and design of the learning material provided to the student.
