The package (1) has a cup-shaped tobacco receptacle (2) with a removable sealing film (7) at an opening side. An outwardly protruding flange (3) is provided for attaching the package to an automatic cigarette manufacturing device. An upwardly projecting, rectangular open locking bar retaining part (5) and a wedge-shaped unlocking part (6) are designed for a safety latch of the manufacturing device. The unlocking part is separately formed from the package and is connected to the sealing film for removal of the sealing film. The sealing film is formed as a flexible, removable protective film. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system consisting of a tobacco package and an automatic cigarette manufacturing device (2) a method for equipping an automatic cigarette manufacturing device with tobacco from a tobacco package.
