PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LUT creation device which, even if gradation when an output device is designed and gradation of an actual device are different from each other, is capable of reducing an error between an interpolated value obtained by interpolation calculation and an actual output value.SOLUTION: The LUT creation device calculates a color difference (&Dgr;E*ab) between an interpolated L*a*b* value obtained by plural interpolation methods and a color measurement L*a*b* value (S203), selects a proper interpolation method about each primary color interpolation point of the color system (CMYK) of a printer on the basis of the calculation result of a color difference (&Dgr;E*ab)(S204), and executes interpolation calculation about a multicolor interpolation point of the color system (CMYK) of the printer using the combination of selected interpolation methods.
