PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure test method and the like which can easily and reliably perform a pressure test of a pressure container in an updated part while dispensing with labor required for the conventional pressure test.;SOLUTION: The inside of a pressure container 1 is partitioned in the axial direction by two partition walls 10 and 20 so as to be divided into three chambers 1a, 1b and 1c. The chamber 1a includes an updated part 30, and a pressure test pressure is applied to the chamber 1a including the updated part 30. The chambers 1b and 1c adjacent to the chamber 1a are applied with a design pressure lower than the pressure test pressure. Since the partition walls are applied with pressure obtained by subtracting the design pressure from the pressure test pressure, the integrity of the partition walls can be secured, and as a result, a reliable pressure test of the pressure container can be performed.
