PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy composition having a high amorphous forming ability.SOLUTION: An alloy composition has an amorphous phase as the main phase and a composition formula of FeCoBSiPCuC, and the parameters meet the following conditions: 3.5a4.5 at%; 8b11 at%; 0c2 at%; 3d5 at%; 0.5e1.1 at%; and 0f2 at%. The alloy composition also allows formation of an alloy composition which has good magnetic characteristics and a 25 m or thicker thin strip shape. When a powder is formed with the alloy composition, the powder has good magnetic characteristics even when being powder of large grain sizes of e.g. 45 m, leading to improvement of the yield.
