PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embed high-accuracy invisible information with degraded visibility into an image.SOLUTION: An invisible information embedding apparatus which embeds invisible information at a predetermined position of an acquired image comprises: image analysis means which acquires object information and positional information included in the image; embedding-target image determination means which determines whether the image is an image to be embedded, from the object information obtained by the image analysis means; invisible information setting means which sets the contour shape of the invisible information to be synthesized into the image; invisible information generation means which generates invisible information using the contour shape associated with the setting information obtained by the invisible information setting means; and image synthesis means which, on the basis of a determination result obtained by the embedding-target image determination means, embeds at the predetermined position of the image the invisible information obtained by the invisible information generation means, thereby synthesizing the image.
