PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a deflection electromagnet having a high magnetic homogeneity and its coil, in a short time with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: In the deflection electromagnet coil design method for designing a coil 51 of a deflection electromagnet 20 transporting particles by an arcuate beam path 30, a position of a conductor 63 on a beam path vertical surface perpendicular to the beam path 30 is represented by parameters on the beam path vertical surface for the conductor 63 constituting the coil 51.
