The present invention relates to a composition having an extract of a mixed herb consisting of Acanthopanax koreanum Nakai and Hamamoto (Crinum asiaticum var. Japonicum) and exhibiting prophylactic activity and hair growth stimulating activity for baldness. The mixed extract of the present invention exhibits stronger hair growth promoting activity and synergistic effect than the single treatment of each herb, that is, Acantopanax choleanumunakai or Hamamoto. This was confirmed through an animal model experiment such as a growth rate test using C57BL / 6 mice to confirm the effect of the combined treatment of Panax Coreanumunakai and Hamamoto. Therefore, the extract of the present invention can be useful for the treatment or prevention of baldness.
