PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an extremely thick austenitic stainless thick steel plate excellent in an inner quality characteristic and the extremely thick austenitic stainless thick steel plate excellent in the inner quality characteristic.;SOLUTION: An extremely thick austenitic stainless steel plate is provided by a process of thickening both end parts by reducing a slab width by 300 mm or more in a size by forging-drafting both end parts E in the width direction of a slab from the width direction by heating the slab 1 by continuous casting in a specific temperature range, a process of executing FM forging for drafting by exceeding the draft ratio 8% in the slab thickness direction at the temperature of 1000°C by a vertically asymmetric forging metal mold of setting the contact length with the slab of a lower anvil 3 to 3 or more, assuming the contact length with the slab of an upper anvil 2 as 1 and a process of executing rolling of 20%-30% in the total draft ratio of totaling the draft ratio of the FM forging and the draft ratio of the rolling by heating the slab at 1090°C-1150°C, and the number of porosity of 0.1 mmφ-1.0 mmφ diameter in a 1/2 thickness ±10 mm position of a plate thickness in the whole width in the slab rolling vertical direction, is 10 piece/100 mm or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
