PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel flow-based probabilistic control in gas turbine tuning under a partial load.SOLUTION: A computing device 814 configured to tune a set of gas turbine engines (GTs) 10: commands each GT 10, on the basis of a measured ambient condition for each GT 10, to adjust a corresponding output to match a nominal mega-watt power output value; subsequently, for each GT 10, adjusts an operating condition of the GT 10 on the basis of a difference between an actual fuel flow value and a nominal fuel flow value; commands each GT 10 to a partial load level representing a fraction of a base load level; and subsequently calibrates the set of GTs 10 on the basis of a difference between an actual fuel flow value for each GT 10 at the partial load level and the actual fuel flow value after adjusting the output to match the nominal mega-watt power output value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
