PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor monitoring system capable of monitoring the condition of a nuclear reactor in an appropriate manner.SOLUTION: A nuclear reactor monitoring system includes: at least one thermoacoustic sensor 40 provided in a reactor vessel 11; a sound detector 48 for detecting sounds generated by the at least one thermoacoustic sensor 40; and a condition monitoring unit 100 for monitoring the condition of the reactor vessel 11 on the basis of a detection result of the sound detector 48. The condition monitoring unit 100 includes: a frequency analysis part for analyzing a frequency for the detection result of the sound detector 48; a sound pressure peak calculation part for calculating a sound pressure peak in an analysis result obtained by the frequency analysis part; and a monitoring part for monitoring the condition on the basis of the calculation result obtained by the sound pressure peak calculation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
