PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character lesson support device enabling a learner to imitate the motion, the speed, and the rhythm of the hand, the finger or the pencil used by a teacher for writing by sensing and learn characters while moving a hand.SOLUTION: Data on a part in which a completed character in photographic data obtained by video-photographing the hand of a teacher has been recorded is recorded as a character image in a character image recording layer A, and displayed on a display part. Then, the photographic data is recorded as a video image in a video image recording layer B, and superimposed on a completed character image to be reproduced, and displayed as a translucent video image on the display part. A character handwriting input is received from a user, the character the handwriting input of which has been received is recorded as a handwritten character image in a handwritten character image display layer C, and displayed on the display part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
