An adaptive IF filter for a multiband GNSS receiver comprises a wideband filter that passes multiple signals from different GNSS systems (e.g. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo) and cross-coupling elements that convert the wideband filter into a narrowband complex band-pass filter passing a subset of the signals. Thus the IF filter can be dynamically configured as a low-pass or complex band-pass architecture, e.g. in response to detecting interference within a pass-band of the wideband filter (e.g. jamming 402, Fig.4). It can simultaneously receive multiple frequency bands, but still protect itself from close-in or in-band jammers by selecting a single frequency band or subset of frequency bands. The wideband filter may comprise a pair of low-pass OP Amp-RC filters respectively coupled to in-phase and quadrature signals corresponding to the multiple signals and the cross-coupling elements may comprise a switched resistor block coupled between the low-pass filters.
