This pairing method between a server (20) and one or more measuring devices (24) of one or more electrical quantities relating to an electrical installation, comprises a first step of configuring the server in a detection mode , in which it is waiting for a first pairing message from the or each measuring device. Following the configuration step, the method comprises the steps of: - transmitting the first pairing message by the or each measurement device, when it is powered up or when a test button belonging to the or each device is actuated, the actuation of the test button being able to also trigger an automatic function test of the corresponding measuring device, and - the reception by the server (20) of the first pairing message.
