The present invention relates to a device for the cosmetic treatment of human keratin substances, including: - a handpiece (1) comprising an electrical assembly (2), - an application member (3) fixed on the handpiece (1) and defining an application surface (4), the application surface (4) having a surface area of between 50 and 200 mm2, and more preferably between 70 and 150 mm2, and the handpiece (1) being arranged to generate an amplitude of heat between the keratin materials, and the application surface (4) is greater than or equal to 5°C. for a period of at least 5 minutes, in particular greater than or equal to 20°C. for a period of at least 5 minutes.
