The present invention applies to the field of the flat antennas for telecommunication systems with a very wide band. It relates to an antenna reflector (3) with a structure of type artificial magnetic conductor (cma) for a flat antenna (2), an antenna device (1) comprising a planar antenna (2) and said antenna reflector (3), as well as a process for the design of the antenna reflector (3). A planar antenna (2) generally comprises a radiating element (23) mounted on a support of the antenna (21). An antenna reflector (3) in cma structure includes a ground plane (32) and of the assemblies (331 - 335) of conducting patterns (33) placed in a non-contiguous manner in a plane substantially parallel to the plane of mass. The flat antenna (2) is able to be mounted on the antenna reflector (3). According to the invention, the shape and dimensions of the conductor patterns (33) are determined so that each assembly (331 - 335) locally forms a high impedance at the frequency that is radiated by the flat antenna (2).
