The invention relates to a door (5) for a domestic appliance (1), comprising a carrier element (19) and a front screen (10) which is arranged on the carrier element (19), wherein an inner side (10a ) of the windshield (10) connecting elements (11 to 14) for connecting the windshield (10) to the carrier element (19) are arranged, wherein a first connecting element (11, 12) has a centering element (16), with which the front screen (10 ) in the width direction of the door (5) during assembly relative to the carrier element (19) is automatically adjustable. The invention also relates to a household appliance (1) having a door (5) and a method for mounting a windshield (10) to a carrier element (19) of a door (5).
