The invention provides a high-voltage transformer device (10) having a transformer core (1), a primary winding (3) and a secondary winding (8) arranged above the primary winding (3), with a spacing between the primary winding (3) and the secondary winding (8) , juxtaposed ring cores (5), which are designed to scatter the magnetic flux (Φ1) of the primary winding (3). The invention also provides an inverter circuit having such a high voltage transformer device and a use of such a high voltage transformer device. The advantage of the device according to the invention in comparison to a realization by an equivalent device, consisting of a transformer of known design and an upstream series reactor, is that the series reactor is magnetically integrated in the transformer device.
