FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and can be used for the recombinant production of human follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). The procedure involves constructing an expression plasmid for human recombinant FSH in CHO cells; the above plasmid contains a region of origin of replication of the pUC plasmid, a beta-lactamase (bla) open reading frame and a bla gene prokaryotic promoter, a human Epstein-Barr virus terminal repeat (EBVTR) site, functional elements of Chinese hamster elongation factor 1 alpha gene, Kozak sequence; open reading frames of alpha- and beta-subunits of human FSH with stop-codons; an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) of EMCV virus; an open reading frame of dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) expressed as a part of tricystronic mRNA with the gene coding alpha- and beta-subunit of human FSH. The produced plasmid is used to transform a CHO cell to produce a FSH producer cell.
