FIELD: radio engineering, communication.;SUBSTANCE: method includes detecting signals from nonsynchronous pulse interference (NPI) at the inter-period processing level and replacing the detected signals from NPI with values correlated with signals from local objects in each quadrature component with subsequent implementation of inter-period and intra-period accumulation. NPI is detected using a signal from the output of a phase detector. This provides protection from NPI with negligible sensitivity losses since detection of NPI is performed before coherent intra- and inter-period accumulation, and also provides protection from NPI against the background of signals from local objects since subtraction of signals from said objects from the signal from the output of the phase detector is now possible.;EFFECT: reduced loss of sensitivity of a detection channel in conditions with multiple NPI and crosstalk.;2 cl, 6 dwg
