FIELD: biotechnology.;SUBSTANCE: proposed strain Pseudomonas migulae is deposited in the Russian National Collection of Microorganisms of the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms under the number of VKM B-2761D. The strain is isolated from samples of bottom soil contaminated with oil of freshwater lake of Usinsky district of the Komi Republic in the zone of chronic oil pollution.;EFFECT: strain has high oil-oxidising activity against naphthenic hydrocarbons, is capable of reducing the concentration of hydrocarbons dissolved in water and accelerates the destruction of oil in soils and bottom sediments of water reservoirs.;3 tbl, 3 ex
