A spectrometer according to the present invention comprises: a random transmittance filter module; a light sensor unit for converting the light filtered by the random transmittance filter module into an electric charge and outputting it; and a digital signal processing unit for processing an output signal of the light sensor unit into a digital signal and recovering the spectrum information of the incident light. The random transmittance filter module comprises: a grating filter placed on the top of an optical path of the incident light; and a scattering filter placed at the bottom of an optical path of the incident light. According to the present invention, a random filter module used for a small spectrometer can be realized to be available for an industrial purpose at a low cost. In addition, the present invention can provide a random transmittance filter module for the whole area of a frequency of interest with a low correlation of a penetration ratio of a random transmittance filter virtually corresponding to each light sensor and a low correlation between penetration ratios of different wavelengths. Therefore, a spectrometer with a high resolution can be obtained.
