The present invention relates to a cremation furnace which includes a dead body transferring device which has a fireproof truck transferring device for transferring a fireproof truck to an anteroom or the inside of a cremation furnace; a combustion gas treatment device which has a combustion device coupled to the cremation furnace for combusting a coffin transferred by the fireproof truck transferring device in a main combustion room or a recombustion room, and also has an eco-friendly dust collector and a titanic low temperature catalytic reactor; and a heat exchanger for a combustion gas cooling device, which is installed between the combustion device and the combustion gas treatment device. The heat exchanger comprises: a heat exchanger main body which is connected with the upper part of the combustion gas cooling device, and has multiple element modules stacked in vertical direction at maintained intervals; a cooling air inlet hopper which is connected with one side of the heat exchanger main body; a second combustion air discharge hopper which is connected with the other end of the heat exchanger main body; and an exhaust gas upper hopper which is connected with the upper part of the heat exchanger main body. A wall body of the inlet hopper, the discharge hopper, and the upper hopper includes: an inner plate which is made of stainless and is placed inside the relevant hopper; an outer plate which is made of zinc and is placed outside the hopper; and an insulating material layer which is filled in between the inner plate and the outer plate.
