The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an alumina carrier for a catalyst for direct dehydrogenation by a sol-gel method based on alkoxide to manufacture C4 olefin (1-butene, 2-butene, i-butene, 1,3-butadiene) from n-butane, a manufacturing method of a platinum catalyst including tin impregnated in the alumina carrier which is manufactured by the sol-gel method based on alkoxide, and a manufacturing method of C4 olefin by using the catalyst manufactured thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to a manufacturing method of the alumina carrier which is suitable for the direct dehydrogenation of n-butane as the carrier to support platinum and tin, by including platinum as an active compound and tin, a manufacturing method of the platinum catalyst including tin impregnated in the alumina carrier, by impregnating tin and platinum in the alumina carrier sequentially, and a manufacturing method of C4 olefin with a high added value, through the direct dehydrogenation from inexpensive n-butane, by using the catalyst manufactured thereby.
