PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing lithium-nickel-cobalt-manganese complex oxide is provided to ensure energy capability per unit volume, electrochemical characteristic, and crystallinity by controlling particle diameter and tab density. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing lithium-nickel-cobalt-manganese complex oxide comprises the steps of: mixing a lithium compound, nickel compound, manganese compound, cobalt compound, X-containing compound, and Y-containing compound in a stoichiometry ratio, wherein X is one element selected from the group consisting of B, Mg, Al, Si, Ti, V,Cr, Zn, Ga, Zr, Nb, and Mo and Y is one element selected from the group consisting of F, P and S; dispersing the compound in a solvent and wet grinding the compound so that average particle diameter is less than a 0.3 micrometer to prepare slurry; spray-drying the slurry; and plasticizing the dried slurry.
