The present invention relates to an electronic commerce system based on hardware security module (HSM) device authentication and an escrow code and a method thereof, more specifically, to an electronic commerce system based on hardware security module (HSM) device authentication and an escrow code and a method thereof which prevent financial accidents. The electronic commerce system based on hardware security module (HSM) device authentication and an escrow code according to the present invention comprises: a relay server (100) for receiving payment completion information generated by performing product payment corresponding to an escrow code and transmitting the payment completion information to a seller device (200) in a PUSH type; the seller device (200) for receiving a state that a purchaser pays a sales product; and a purchaser device (300) for paying a product corresponding to an escrow code and receiving a state that a seller delivers a purchased product.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
