The present invention relates to a bipedal locomotion apparatus having variable footholds and an assembly thereof. The bipedal locomotion apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of variable footholds; a treadmill which includes a caterpillar track which transfers the variable footholds; and a support frame which supports the treadmill from the bottom part of the treadmill wherein the variable foothold comprises: a base which is connected unidirectionally; a sliding part which is inserted inside the base and is mounted to be able to move in a lengthwise direction of the base; and an elastic body which is inserted inside the base and supports the sliding part by being in contact with the sliding part.
