The present invention relates to a method for providing membership benefit service based on an electronic receipt and to a device and a system therefor. If the service device confirms whether or not a product for membership benefit is included in one or more purchased products by using the transaction history information of the one or more purchased products in a terminal device and if an electronic receipt generated to include information on the confirmed product for membership benefit is transmitted to the terminal device, the terminal device can inform, via the received electronic receipt, whether or not the one or more purchased products are products for membership benefit and membership benefit can be provided by requesting membership benefit for the products from the service device. Accordingly, the present invention can confirm products for membership benefit easily via electronic receipts and can mitigate the inconvenience of users having to collect coupons attached to the products for membership benefit and directly requesting membership benefit via a service-providing site, a collection box, etc. as membership benefit can be requested immediately on the output screen of an electronic receipt. Also membership benefit can be provided via a simple process. The terminal device comprises: a communications part for communicating with the service device for membership benefit service based on an electronic receipt; a control part functionally connected to the communication part; and an output part for outputting an electronic receipt and information on membership benefit service.
