A method and device for analyzing evolution of scientific research information are provided, wherein the method comprises the steps of: collecting two or more scientific articles in a preset field via a collection unit; allowing the scientific articles to be preprocessed via a preprocessing unit and constructing an author theme evolution model of two or more scientific articles; and setting scientific research information estimation parameters via an acquisition unit and utilizing an evolution calculation formula to calculate the scientific research estimation parameters, thereby acquiring a scientific research information evolution result. In an embodiment of the present invention, the scientific articles in the preset field are collected and allowed to be preprocessed, the author theme evolution model of the scientific articles is built, and the scientific research information evolution result is obtained by using the evolution calculation formula. The scientific research information evolution result discloses themes of the scientific articles and interest of scientific researchers, and simultaneously can disclose and find rules of the progress or changes in the preset scientific research field and the interest of the scientific researchers based on time, whereby the context of the scientific research theme evolution in the preset field can be grasped.
