A method for simulating the behavior of nuclides in an high-level waste (HLW) repository system using compartments according to the present invention comprises: a segmentation step where the entire area of an HWL repository system is segmented into numerical analytic areas and successive analytic areas; a modeling step where the behavior of nuclides within the numerical analytic areas and the successive analytic areas is modeled respectively according to possible outflow scenarios; a calculation step where the travel distance of the nuclides between the areas segmented from the segmentation step are calculated by applying the model acquired from the modeling step.
