The present invention relates to a block for a breakwater allowing the entire waves in the open sea to easily flow into the internal of a wave inflow groove part formed long in a transverse direction corresponding to the height of the waves to relieve pressure to serially be applied by the waves by simply and easily laminating a block main body part in a step type. The block for the breakwater can be used as a rest area and prevents the block main body part from being moved or collapsed due to the pressure applied by the waves while the block main body part combined on both same sides can firmly be fixated more on the transverse direction by a block fixating pin.
