METHOD OF FABRICATING SI/TRANSITION METAL NANOCOMPOSITE USING GRAPHENE NANOSHEET AND SI/TRANSITION METAL NANOCOMPOSITE USING GRAPHENE NANOSHEET THEREOF
The present invention relates to hybridizing a nanoparticle of silicone and an oxide of a transition metal with a graphene nanosheet being able to act together as a reducing agent instead of preparing a mixed phase using a typical ball mill process in order to prepare a negative electrode material for a secondary battery of a silicone/transition metal alloy phase; and the secondary battery exhibiting high capacity characteristics. In this case, since the oxide is reduced by graphene (carbon) to form a stable silicon/transition metal alloy phase, and in addition, the hybridized graphene nanosheet surrounds the silicon/transition metal alloy to provide structural stability; it is possible to develop a high-performance negative electrode material being able to maintain stable characteristics even after a long-term operation.
