A method is intended for automatically selecting a real-time video stream among a plurality of available real-time video streams (2j, 2k). The method comprises:• a first step (30) of selection of a set (18) of relevant video streams from an initial set of available real-time video streams (2j, 2k), said relevant video streams being related to a single event,• a step (32) of determination of an ordered subset (34) of relevant video streams from the received set (18) of relevant video streams, said determination being based on a received set of social interaction data (10i) associated to each of said relevant video streams, and• a second step (68) of selection of a single relevant video stream from the received subset (34) of relevant video streams.
