The invention relates to a product based on recycled aluminium, used in smelters in the mining industry, said product comprising a mixture of: (a) between 91 and 98% of aluminium; (b) between 0.001 and 0.1% of indium; (c) between 0.2 and 8% of silicon; (d) between 0.1 and 2.5% of manganese, magnesium, zinc, silica, iron and copper; and (e) between 0.1 and 0.8% of aluminium, where the latter covers the surface of the product. The invention also relates to the use of the product for recovering metal remaining in the dump slag and for dissolving accretions and/or adhesions in the furnaces used in mining.
