The method involves recording a set of object pixels from a two-dimensional scanning region by an image sensor during scanning a surface of a celestial body. Image data is analyzed after superimposing different pixel data for the object pixels that are recorded by the surface of the body. Image deformations due to surface bends, a rotation movement of the body or an air movement of an observed instrument are controlled in an image recording process. The image data is recorded by an image sensor, which has sensitive areas of sensor elements (11).
