A life-cycle environmental impact assessment method for a building, using main materials, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: extracting a main material inventory comprising materials of which the degree of impact on an environmental impact assessment of the building exceeds a predetermined value, and cement having a relatively high greenhouse gas basic unit; calculating, on the basis of the extracted main material inventory, a quantity associated with environmental impact assessment from the whole quantity inputted into the building; and conducting an environmental impact assessment with respect to multiple environmental impact categories on the basis of the calculated quantity, through a database of environmental impact characterized according to building materials.
