The present invention relates to a method of estimating slowness, Young'smodulus, Poisson's ratio, brittleness, and the reserve amount of gas of ahorizontaldrilling zone in a sweet spot range at a shale gas play using resistivity anddensitylogging data, and a method of determining fracking intervals of the horizontaldrilling zone using the estimated values. In the present invention, slownessof asweet spot horizontal drilling zone is estimated using a combination ofdensitylogging and resistivity logging data without performing sonic logging on thesweetspot horizontal drilling zone. Also, elastic modulus and brittleness of thehorizontaldrilling zone are estimated based on the slowness, and the reserve amount ofshalegas is estimated for each region of the sweet spot horizontal drilling zone.
