The method for producing silver oxide nanoparticles with antimicrobial properties includes stabilizing the particles with 3-hydroxypyridine and macromolecular compounds. The composite nanoparticles are prepared of silver oxide condensate (nanoparticles 10 nm) deposited on the crystals of sodium chloride, by dispersing them in a solution of low molecular weight PVP with 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3- hydroxypyridine succinate and used as antimicrobial agent.
