摘要

Ointment based on linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) with cicatrizant properties for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers. The present invention patent refers to the use of a formulation of a pharmaceutical ointment on the basis of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) with In wound healing for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers.Were used as raw materials: linseed oil, paraffin wax, white beeswax, butylhydroxytoluene, methylparaben, Propylparaben, solid Vaseline, propylene glycol. The physical characterization was carried out qufinica and evaluated toxicity, irritation and sensitization skin and tissue repair of the ointment on basis of linseed oil in rodents and rabbits.For the evaluation of the toxicity, were used in different experimental models using mice and rats. In the verification of activity in the tissue repair, wound models were used, exicisional and incisional, Wistar rats, evaluating the contraction and re epithelialisation of the wound.The results showed that the ointment on the basis of linseed oil showed no toxicity, dermal irritation or sensitization in animal models used. With respect to the tissue repair, the group treated with the ointment on the basis of linseed oil began the process of re epithelialisation, significant, when compared to the control group placebo.Topical administration of the ointment on the basis of linseed oil in experimental excisional wounds, enabled the re epithelialisation in 100% of the treated animals and caused no damage to intact skin.
