Uml profile for notification oriented paradigm (pon), uml profile for rule oriented paradigm (por), notification oriented development method (don) and rule oriented development method (pain). The model presented is based on the area of development-implementation paradigms of computer systems and on the specific theme related to the notification-oriented paradigm (pon). This paradigm proposes to develop rule-based computational systems, which are approved and subsequently executed by means of a causal expression evaluation mechanism. However, this mechanism is odd and is composed of computational entities that communicate through notifications, which is the essence of pon. It is thus proposed to address some of the shortcomings of imperative and declarative paradigms with regard to performance and distribution. In this context, this patent proposes a method for system design that employs the notification-oriented paradigm (pon) in its development. The pon has been materialized in terms of implementation, but it did not yet have a definite method to guide developers in designing system designs. The proposed method, called notification oriented development (don), was developed from two steps: (1) the creation of an uml profile called pon or nop profile, which defines the main concepts of pon through the use of mechanisms extension of the uml; and (2) the creation of the don method itself, which makes use of the pon profile (or similar) and presents a sequence of steps for the construction of projects in this new paradigm and these steps are adapted in the unified process (rup) using resources from uml and petri nets. Also, the pon profile and the don method have been generalized for use as a rule-oriented paradigm (por).
