POSITIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERIES, LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY POSITIVE ELECTRODE ARRANGED BY USE THEREOF, LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY, LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY MODULE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POSITIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERIES
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for lithium ion secondary batteries and a lithium ion secondary battery which are arranged to have a high energy density, a high rate characteristic, and a long life even when being stored at a high temperature.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material for lithium ion secondary batteries comprises: particles of lithium composite phosphorus oxide having an olivine structure expressed by the compositional formula, LiMnM(PO)(where M represents at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, Mg, Ti, Mo and V; x is selected from a range given by 1.0x1.3; y is selected from a range given by 0.5y1; and z is selected from a range given by 1.0z1.1); and a composite film disposed on the surface of each of the particles, and including 0.5-8 mass% of lithium phosphate and 0.5-5 mass% of carbon to the total mass of the positive electrode active material.
