PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical quantity simulation method capable of accurately simulating wave motion propagation within an absorption boundary.SOLUTION: A physical quantity simulation method for simulating a physical quantity corresponding to lattice points set in an analysis target area and an absorption boundary layer disposed at a periphery of the analysis target area includes: an absorption boundary setting step of determining an absorption coefficient in the absorption boundary layer as a function of a position of the lattice point; a first computation step (S102) of numerically computing a physical quantity at a lattice point in the absorption boundary layer in accordance with a CIP method on the basis of an advection equation; and a second computation step (S105) of analytically computing a physical quantity at a lattice point in the absorption boundary layer on the basis of the physical quantity computed in the first arithmetic step, the function and an attenuation equation.
