PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of high-strength 7000 series aluminum alloy member capable of improving formability itself even after natural aging, reducing a residual stress applied by a forming process to the member, and greatly increasing its strength by a subsequent artificial aging hardening treatment, and the high-strength 7000 series aluminum alloy member.;SOLUTION: After manufacturing a 7000 series aluminum alloy material, a restoration process is performed under a predetermined short-time condition without any artificial refinement except for natural aging, the material is made into a member by performing the forming process involving generation of the residual stress without any artificial refinement within a short time after the restoration process, and then the member is refined, thereby manufacturing the 7000 series aluminum alloy member with high strength and low residual stress.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
