PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide phosphorus-containing metal oxide fine particles excellent in light resistance and weather resistance, having high concentration and excellent stability and high refractive index, and to provide a method for producing the particles, and a substrate with a transparent coating film using the particles, and a coating liquid for forming a transparent coating film.
