PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultra high molecular weight polyethylene particles having high bulk density and good flowability and hardly causing entanglement of polymer chains in a molding method such as a solid state drawing method using the polymer particles.;SOLUTION: In the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles: (1) intrinsic viscosity [η] is 10-35 dL/g; (2) bulk density is 0.35-0.48 g/cm3; (3) 50 g of particles fall through a specific funnel in 20-60 seconds; and (4) a polyethylene constituent [a] with intrinsic viscosity [η] of 10-15 dL/g and the molecular weight lower than that of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles is contained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
