PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for directly evaluating a two-phase thermal hydraulics phenomenon, independent of a constitutive equation and a flow regime map, and under conditions that an actual machine is a target.;SOLUTION: A first two phase thermal hydraulics analyzer 10A includes: a fluid calculation unit 12 that calculates flow velocity, a pressure, and enthalpy of two-phase flow being as an analysis target, on the basis of an initial parameter of the analysis target given from an input unit 11, with respect to a plurality of sections where a flow field is divided; a quality calculation unit 13 that refers to expression information for computing a mass flow rate fraction of the two-phase flow and information of a state equation to compute the mass flow rate fraction of the two-phase flow with respect to the plurality of sections; a physical property calculation unit 14 that calculates a physical property of density or the like in the two-phase flow, with respect to the plurality of sections; and a calculation termination determination unit 15 that determines whether calculation termination conditions are satisfied based on the flow velocity, the pressure, and the enthalpy calculated by the flow calculation unit 12 and predetermined calculation termination conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
