PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of mis-stacking even if the content is light, and surely preventing mis-stacking, in staking-up, without the need of accurate positioning.;SOLUTION: The present packing box with a mis-stacking prevention function has a peripheral wall in which a side plate 1 and an end plate 2 are arranged opposite to each other to form a square cylindrical shape, and comprises a projection part 10 and a recessed part 11 for engagement on the top surface and bottom surface, where the projection part 10 is composed of an upper projection piece 8 formed by marking a cut line from an upper part of the end plate 2 over the top plate 6 connected to the upper part and a cut-raised piece 9 formed between the cut lines marked on the side edge of the top plate 7 continuing to the side plate 1; a ruled line 8d becoming a trough on the central side is formed in a base part of the upper projection piece 8; the upper projection piece 8 stands upward in a state of inclining inward with the ruled line 8d of a base part as the axis in response to the bending of the top plate 6 from the end plate 2; and the cut-raised piece 9 is pushed up by the upper projection piece 8 and held in the pushed-up state.
