PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of barium titanate coated with highly crystalline silicon dioxide (SiO), and a barium titanate powder coated with highly crystalline silicon dioxide (SiO) produced by the above method.SOLUTION: The production method of barium titanate coated with highly crystalline silicon dioxide (SiO) includes steps of: preparing a barium hydroxide raw material after addition of a substance containing silicon (Si) and heating to ionize barium (Ba); preparing a titanium (Ti) raw material dispersed in an acid or a base; mixing the barium hydroxide raw material with the titanium raw material to react to obtain barium titanate seeds; mixing the barium titanate seeds with pure water and a grain growth inhibitor and growing grains; and coating surfaces of the barium titanate seeds grown into grains with silicon dioxide (SiO).
